Deep sea fishing in Nosara: A thrilling adventure

The deep sea fishing tours in Nosara meet at Garza Beach, which is located about 20-25 minutes from Kismet. Transportation is not included in the price, our retreat planner can arrange a van or Tuk Tuk. Once you are on the beach you will walk to the right and tell the taxi boat the name of your captain. Our go to fishing guide is Captain Vibert with Secret Spot. Captain Vibert was raised in the local fishing community, he knows the waters better than anyone and possesses the intimate local knowledge required to land you the fish of your dreams.

Offshore: Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna and Mahi-Mahi

You can keep whatever you catch! We fillet it for you and keep it on ice until we return to the coast. There are a lot of local Restaurants on the coast (such as Soda Playa Garza, Pacifico Azúl or Restaurant Chirriboca), that can prepare your fish for you.

What to Bring

Aside from your clothing and gear, it's important to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. A camera is also a must-have item so you can capture the memories of your deep sea fishing adventure. If you have any medical conditions or allergies, bring any necessary medication with you. It’s never a bad idea to bring Dramamine for sea sickness, just in case!

What to Wear

When deep sea fishing, it's important to wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Lightweight, long-sleeve shirts and pants are recommended to protect your skin from the sun. A hat and sunglasses are also important to protect your face and eyes from the sun and wind. If you're fishing in the rain, bring a waterproof jacket to keep you dry.

Deep sea fishing tour times vary - you can do a 1/2 day (4hours), 3/4 day (6hours), or full day (8 hours). Prices vary on boat size and duration.
